Accuracy of Shipping Cost Calculations
The accuracy of shipping and duty charges calculations depends on the settings you enter, such as HS code, country of origin of the goods, weight, and product price.
In cases where prices fluctuate between the time the invoice is issued and the time of actual shipment, such as surcharges due to seasonal factors, the estimated shipping cost indicated in advance may differ from the actual cost charged.
Set the HS Code, Country of Origin, and Weight
Set the HS Code, Country of Origin, and Weight on the product detail page of Shopify.
Please refer to the Shopify help page for more information on how to do this.
The settings must also be made in the product master of AnyLogi.
Set "Shipping Address Phone Number" as mandatory in Shopify.
The buyer's phone number information is required for international shipments.
①Settings ⇒ Checkout
②Customer information ⇒ Shipping address phone number ⇒ Required ⇒ Save
Turn on the display of shipping plans in AnyLogi.
Settings → Shipping and delivery → General shipping rates
If step 3 has been completed, "Anylogi Shipping Rate Provider" will appear in the "Shipping Provider and App Rates" tab for each shipping area. If this is displayed, the setup is complete.
Please refer to Shopify help page for more information on setting up shipping charges in Shopify.
Once completed preparation, the shipping plan will appear on the Shopify checkout page as shown below.
The following plans will automatically appear among the available delivery plans for the shipping service connected to your AnyLogi account.
The plan with the lowest delivery fee
The plan with the earliest expected delivery date
The plan with the lowest delivery price + Duty Duty Paid (DDP)
Earliest expected delivery date + Duty (DDP)
In addition to this, you can also display custom shipping rates in your Shopify settings at the same time.
If your store's currency is set to a currency other than Japanese Yen, shipping rates will automatically be displayed for that currency as well.
When the buyer selects a shipping plan on the checkout page, an shipping label and an commercial invoice are automatically generated for that plan.
The generated documents can be downloaded from the "Ready for Shippment" tab on AnyLogi's "Closs-Border Shipping" page.
However, an shipping label and an commercial Invoice will not be automatically created in the following cases.
Insufficient information to issue an invoice (e.g., no phone number entered for the shipping address)
If an unexpected error occurs on the AnyLogi or shipping carrier side.
In such cases, you must check the order information in the "New Order" tab and issue invoices manually.
Please refer to the following page for basic procedures.
Shipping Labels and Commercial InvoicesYou can see which shipping plan the buyer has selected from the "Shopify order page".
